POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT
The Events and Operations Coordinator focuses on supporting the private rentals and operations team at Strathmore’s Mansion and Music Center. This role provides critical administrative and client-facing support to ensure the smooth execution of events. Reporting to the Senior Director of Venue Rentals and Operations, the Coordinator also collaborates with the Chief Operating Officer, Private Events Manager, and other team members to advance the success of Strathmore’s rentals program through responsive communication, contract management, and event logistics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative Support for Rentals and Operations Team (50%)
- Serve as the initial point of contact for rental inquiries at both the Mansion at Strathmore and Music Center at Strathmore.
- Conduct tours of the Mansion at Strathmore and Music Center at Strathmore to potential clients.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries.
Draft and distribute license agreements. - Create and distribute venue and event information to internal and external users of the Mansion at Strathmore and Music Center at Strathmore.
- Work collaboratively with Strathmore’s departments and partners to maintain an accurate record of room reservations and requests on the campus’ master calendar.
- Provide administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer, Senior Director of Venue Rentals and Operations, and Private Events Manager, including scheduling meetings, organizing files, tracking project deadlines, and assisting with departmental communications and documentation.
- Represent and support the Strathmore Private Rentals program as necessary, at events, meetings, and other activities.
Event Support (30%)
Serve as the on-site Point of Contact for events at the Strathmore Mansion and The Music Center at Strathmore as needed.
General Support (20%)
Attend weekly Operations & Events Meetings and Rental Meetings.
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with a calendar management database preferred.
- Desire to grow, learn, and contribute to a team.
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Our competitive compensation package includes:
Salary Range—$50,000 to $55,000 annually, with the exact salary depending on experience. This is a full-time, exempt position.

Generous Leave—Between paid holidays, and vacation, personal, and sick days, you have ample opportunity to take time off when you need it.
Retirement—We contribute 8% of your salary after 6 months to complement your 4% required contribution, fully vesting after three years of credited service.
